Upload and embed flash swf file on Myspace Facebook or Blogs
If you want to post flash file on Myspace, Facebook or Orkut, you can do it easily by copy and pasting this given code in box. What you need to do is to first upload the flash file at any web host you can use geocities.com if you have yahoo account, then you need to hotlink this uploaded flash file to your code at Myspace.
1. Upload your flash or swf file to any webhost.
2. Get URL of that flash file. something like http://yourfile.swf
3. Replace the url in given code by your url of flash file. Adjust the dimension of file according to your requirement. It will be better if you keep original size.
<embed height=”400″ width=”300″ src=”http://www.hellogiri.com/images/hellogiri.swf ” pluginspage=” http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” style=”width: 300px; height: 400px”></embed>
4. After replacing URL you can post this code anywhere.
This method is not only applicable for Myspace, Facebook or Orkut but you can use it on blog also. blog platform may be wordpress or blogger. If you are on free blooger platform or free wordpress plateform, you can not upload on your blogger or wordpress account, in that case you must need to upload it on other webhost like geocities.com, you need to hotlink your swf file at your blog. You can use flash game at your blog to attract more visitors. they will spend more time on your blog.
The above valentine flash can be saved on your PC by right clicking this LINK and click on “save target as” or “save link as” (for firefox).
If you click above flash file, new browser will open with my blog. If you want this flash with your blog link, contact me. I will edit FLA file and put your website URL and will send to you modified flash file. If anyone will click on that flash file they will be redirected to your website.

My gosh–I was searching for a simple and straightforward solution, and this was it! Thanks a million!
I tried this , but it didnt work with me , are you sure the code is right ?
Certainly does NOT work on facebook. This was written in 2007 alot has changed on facebook since then. I think I will go back to studying FBML to find a solution. old HTML is not the way to go in facebook.
I found a new way, when your done wiht your .swf or.fla file, open it up with flash pro 8, and under edit, click export, then movie. Then just choose a video format in the save as box (i chose avi because it is one of the formats facebook currently suppors), then name your file, then hit save. Then you can upload the file to facebook (or any other site that supports the video formant you exported it as) by finding the file from where you exported it to! Hope i helped!
not working on orkut, and also please suggest some free website to upload swf file, thanks
