SBI Probationary Officers Exam ( PO ) JULY 2008- Question Paper Crack
Now once again SBI announced 3500 vacancies for PO post. Here is the total picture and tips for SBI Probationary Officers Exam.
Important dates-
PRELIMINARY (TIER I) EXAMINATION : 12.10.2008 (SUNDAY)
MAIN (TIER II) EXAMINATION : 30.11.2008 (SUNDAY)
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF ON-LINE APPLICATIONS : 16.08.2008
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : (AS ON 01/07/2008)
(a) Educational Qualifications:
General Candidates and others – 60% or more marks in class XII and 55% or more marks in Graduation or Post Graduation.
Age Limit:
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.07.2008
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Tier I – Preliminary Examination : Time 2 Hrs. (combined)
Candidates will be called for an objective type examination. The objective type examination will consist of i) Test of Reasoning, ii) Quantitative Aptitude, iii) General Awareness/Computer Knowledge, iv) English Language. Question paper will be in bilingual form i.e.in Hindi and English except the test of English language.
b) Tier II – Main Test* : Time 3 Hrs. (combined) Candidates successful in Tier- I, will only be called for Tier- II. This will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination.The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of : i) Test of Reasoning ii) Data Analysis and Interpretation
iii) Marketing Knowledge iv) Test of English Language The Descriptive type examination will be a test of English knowledge – Time 60 Minutes
* For tier II, only candidates securing minimum 40th percentile in each of the four tests in the preliminary examination and with an aggregate 40% (35% for SC/ST/PWD) marks will be invited for the main test (Tier II), if ranked sufficiently high. Candidates securing minimum 40th percentile in each of the above 4 tests and in the descriptive paper with aggregate 40% (35% for SC/ST/PWD) marks and ranked sufficiently high in main examination will be called for Group Discussion and Interview (Tier III) in the ratio of three times the vacancy in each category.
c) Tier III – Group Discussion & Interview :
Qualifying candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview and have to secure 40% (35% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks i.e. Group Discussion and Interview put together to be eligible for selection.

U can get the copy of the receipt from the concerned branch. but u need to submit it as original,so u have to deposit the fee again.

Do not Worry at all,If you lost your receipt.In the examination they will give u a form to fill in which you have to fill in the details of your payment slip in case you do not have slip, which you can find from your online form printout you filled.So prepare well without any tension and do not hesitate ask for any questions

solved papers for main exam r difficult to get. but u can prepare for data interpretation, reasoning , english and marketing. this time paper is more difficult then pre exam. u can get book for marketing frm market. wish u all the best
