SBI Clerk Exam 2008 results (Written) and cutoff marks for Interview

Interview Tips- My friend who is an SBI employed who had interview last year told me that unlike you people think the interview is not a big deal. Most probably that will be around 15-20 minute and the Board will just ask you few personal questions like explain yourself etc.Thatz all. What matters is you have to provide all the certificates that needed and will get preferences for things like computer experiance, graduation etc and the most important thing is the marks you scored in Written Exam. This along with the Marks in Interview, they will put the Final List.

To get the interview call of SBI Clerical exam 2008 after written test the cutoff will be around 60% over all. Sectional cut-off for sbi exam will be near 30%.

Those who have made at least 20 questions in each section are safe for sectional cut off. You can expect the written test result within 1 and half month.

As you know there are two exam date of the same competition 1st, 06 July and other 13 July 2008. There may be biasing in result as both paper may not be same hard.

those, who have done well in the exam i.e. solved more than 60% questions correctly, should start preparation for interview right now. They should join interview training course for better result.

Cut Off – Candidates securing minimum 40th percentile in each of the 4 tests and with aggregate 40% (35% for SC/ST/PWD) marks and ranked sufficiently high in examination will be called for Interview.

you are saying that 60% is cutoff. But isn’t there provision of selection based on each state’s own merit list and thus cut off is subject to change in every state.

and i attempted only 20 questions in each section .i think may be in each section i can get nearly 17marks .so can i get interview .

the intervew on 29 March 2008.But i failed in the interview.

Hi Friends:

My friend who is an SBI employed who had interview last year told me that unlike you people think the interview is not a big deal. Most probably that will be around 15-20 M and they Board with just ask you few personal questions like explain yourself etc..Thatz all…What matters is you have to provide all the certificates that needed and will get preferences for things like computer experiance, graduation etc..and the most important thing is the marks you scored in Written Exam..This along with the Marks in INterview, they will put the Final List..

I have answered near about 180 questions out of 200 on 22nd Nov 2009. I think there is a possibility to get 155 marks after deducting the negative marks. what is probability to chance finally.
