Nokia now entered for the first time into laptop segment with Nokia 3G Booklet. There are already big player like ACER and SAMSUNG are selling mini laptop at very low price. If you compare Nokia 3G with ACER ASIPRE ONE,

Nokia 3G booklet is having battery life of 12 hour and Acer Aspire One battery life is around 5 hour.

Nokia 3G booklet is having provision to insert sim card in it, so you can surf internet by 3G network or GPRS by just inserting sim card in it just like any 3G or GPRS enabled mobile phone. This facility is not available in ACER aspire one or other netbook (mini laptop)

Other specifications are

  • Intel Atom processor, 1.6 Ghz.
  • 120 GB hard disk
  • 3G / HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, plus integrated Bluetooth for local wireless communication
  • 19.9 mm thick x 264 mm width x 185 mm depth
  • 10.1 inch glass HD ready display
  • Front facing video camera mounted, on top of the screen, for video calling
  • 1 x HDMI port (for HD video out), 1 x integrated SD card reader, 3 x USB ports, 1 x audio port
  • Integrated A-GPS
  • Stereo speakers mounted on the front right and left corners (source)

    • In India its price will be near Rs 35000. Acer aspire one cost now around Rs 20000 in India.

      Acer Aspire One does have built-in 3G modem option :)
      So Nokia is not the only one.

      the price is so high that i can buy a notebook in high configaratin but the battery life is really affordable.
