Misuse of Central govt employee’s air travel on LTC to NER by cash back scheme by travel agent

All Indian Central Govt Group A and B employee with family can travel to northeast region by Air on LTC.  Many travel agency using this opportunity to make benefit by enrolling the central government employees to various travel package.

Travel agency can arrange you free lodging, traveling and food on same LTC. Many travel agent are also offering cash back package in hidden form.

Central Government employee should avoid this money cash back scheme, as this can bring you trouble in future.

Government intention is to make people travel in north east region, but if you use this opportunity for making money by cash back scheme, it will be treated as forgery.

If travel agent pay you in cash back in cash form, they will not provide any other facility, and you will have to return within short time. In case of trouble you need to give proof that you have stayed at NER for at least three days.

The package in which traval agency will not give you cash back and provide free stay at 3star or 5 star hotel is safe to choose like this one.

      Iam a central Govt employee working as a Sr.Auditor in Defence A/cs Deptt. Min. of Def.at Hyd. my grade pay is 4200/-. I would like to av avail NER package to my family members. the tour I would like to cover from Hyderabad to Darjeeling/Gangtok via Calcutta.       I am Assistant Foreman working in ministry of defence. My grade pay is Rs. 4600/- My post is not gazetted. How I can find out I am entitle for North east LTC by air from pune my place of duty or from Kolkata?
      How many days stay in north east is compulsory?
      Can I break journey at Kolkata?

      i m working in central govt. with grade pay Rs.4800/- and gazetted cadre. i would like to go on LTC to NER for this block year. preferbly would like to start my trip on 25/26 dec and return on 31 dec, 2009. kindly advise me the options to avail LTC by flight from bangalore. I am presently working at bagalkot district in north karnataka. to what extent my eligibility of reimbursement and what will be the total expenses.

      as i central govt employee grade pay 4200 . my ltc for jaipur to darjeeling(NER) my route is as under
      I start from jaipur to delhi by ac bus than air from delhi to bagdogra, bagdogra to darjeeling by taxi pl. tell me my taxi journey is as per rule or not the taxi claim is valid or not

      I am a Central Governement employee (Inspector of Central Excise [PB-2] with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/-) posted at Kolkata.Can I choose my journey from Kolkata to Delhi by Rajdhani Exp + Delhi to Kalka by Satapdi + Kalka to Simla by Sivalik Exp in my LTC from Kolkata to Simla ? Though there is a direct train named Kalka Mail runs in the same route.
