Install and Use Greasemonkey on Firefox and Internet Explorer
You can use userscript code only when you have Greasemonkey installed on your browser. Here is a quick tips to install it on your browser.
Various Java Script code (users defined ) will run without any problem if you have Mozilla Firefox browser. If you don’t have Mozilla firefox browser, download it and install it. This is free browser and works on all versions of Windows. More and more people are using firefox instead of IE.
Remember that only installing Greasemonkey on your Browser is not the end of work. You need to install specific script from userscripts.org to do specific work. These script will work only when Greasemonkey is installed on your browser.
For FireFox users- Download Greasemonkey from here. Install the script. Go to Tools> Adds-On and enable Greasemonkey. Now close all browser. And start firefox browser once again. Now If you are able to see glowing monkey at bottom of firefox browser, your browser is ready to run userscript code. you can see example of using it here
For Internet Explorer- You can not install Greasemonkey for IE, but you can install similar application for IE from Trixie. This will work same as Greasemonkey. To run script in Internet explorer, save the script file (from userscripts.org) in \Program Files\Bhelpuri\Trixie\Script.
Now open internet explorer browser go to tools>Trixie Options and>Reload Scripts. Now your IE browser will run userscript without any problem.
