Indian Women in Present Scenario
The nonchalant saunter of woman on the road to progress has been drastic over the past few years. From being the oppressed ,women have now made an indelible impact on all walks of life. They have succeeded in carving a niche for themselves everywhere, even in previously male dominated bastions.
All this is in stark contrast to deplorable condition of women just half century back . In those days women were reduced to being mere home markers in most cases.hopes of anything more than nursing or perhaps teaching were quashed by the pressure society exerted.
But now, in the present scenario realizing their lights and recognizing their status, women have set a foot forward to assume leading positions in fields like sports corporate, medicine, engineering or eve politics. Women now have a platform to showcase their talents.
Says kiran Bedi – to be thought of half as useful as a man, i had to work twice as hard. these are the words of a woman who struggled a decade ago.

This is an example of western patern of thinking. The status and inportance of women was always important & extraordinary in our culture & civilization. No one can asume any creation without a faminine power. Natural devolopment and freedom never comes from growth in the field of econiomics, poletics and social staus only. Womenhood has not benn created in one or two centuries during the process of evolution. The spirit of womenhood is in its natural status not in economic, social and poletical status. A child never ask about the status of his mother and a true lover also never want to know the status & position of his beloved. We, Indians are in search of spirit of womenhood and so called literate and developed people are searching materials in women only.

In our country one side they are saying that women are being given more importance and even reservations all the stuff but this is found only in fewareas of our country. There is still lot to be done. Once if a girl goes out of the house there is no security for her life until she comes home. Even they are facing harassment at the work places. Even many women lives are being sacrificed for the sake of dowry. All this is going on in the cities of our country where every one is educated.
There is still a lot to be done by the Government, society, to the
women and be implemented in a proper way.
