DTH Broadband Internet in India By Airtel, Dish TV or Reliance
Dish TV has plan to introduce internet facility through DTH in India by June this year. The existing customers of Dish TV have to change their receiver dish and set top box (STB) to get the facility of high speed broadband facility through DTH.
Airtel has plan to inter into DTH market by the end of year 2008, Airtel DTH service will include broadband internet facility. So you have to wait untill end of this year to get this service from Airtel.
Reliance is also jumping into DTH market in India in near future. Reliance DTH service will also include broadband internet service. It is hard to predict when will Reliance DTH service will be available. It is sure that Reliance will give internet service at cheapest rate.
TATA Sky has no plan currently to provide internet through its serve.
The best things with internet by DTH is- too much low cost and super high speed. If this facility will start in India, penetration of Internet in India will increase many times from current level.

I have been living at rural place in dahanu, Thane for years without a phone connection. Recently I have got Wll fwt connections But I miss a Internet connection. I have to travel 21 KM for internet but now when I read that DTH can provide Brodband Internet from yr source of news I am excited and will just wait for the day

I’m from Sugadabadi, a remote place of Kandhamal district of Orissa where it is very difficult to access internet. Internet is one most very urgent need of my life. Though I access internet through my cell phone it is also very difficult due to network problems. I’m very happy and eagerly waiting the day when the DTH internet service will be available for all of us.

I do not have place to connect dish on my terrace.Also my building is sourrounded by lot of trees.Can I still use the dth? Is any dth is available which does not require dish to be connected?
i purchase the samsung lcd alongwith your airtel dish is free at september 2009. at that time the its very difficult to install the dish tv but today i ant to install the dish tv and another problem is that i am in alibagh while the television is purchased from panvel arcee shownroom. please help me to install the dish tv.

I live in Darjeeling the queen of hills but I live in the village of darjeeling where there is no any landline or broadband services so when I know about the internet service in dth I am so excited. I bought Dishtv on 2005. Thank you dishtv for this facility.
Oh my God…..are they really launching it…. I think if it comes in the market then it will definitely rock. it will surely provide a minimum speed of 2 Mbps. Enough to beat BSNl……
