Download or Copy Scribd content PPT, PDF, Doc or ipaper without any software
For some files at Scribd.com , Direct Download Link is deactivated by the uploader of that file. You can still download it. Scribd.com is popular website for imbedding any files like PPT, DOC or PDF file on any website.
If you still want to download the content or copy the content of that file (of which direct download link is deactivated) you can do it in easy way without using any software or downloader.
Just follow the following steps
1. Open the scribd.com page where you can see the embedded file. Here is the example
2. Copy the full URL from address bar of the file page at scribd.com (example copy of url -
http://www.scribd.com/doc/2303069/Case-McDonalds-India-Launch )
3. Open Google.com in other browser.
4. Paste the url in search box and click on enter.
5. In the search result click on cached (first search result, after green url).
6. You will see cached copy of same scribd.com page. Here is the example
7. On the top you can see Link of Text-Only Version, click the link.
8. You will reach on Text only version Google cached page. All the content of the file is given in it. Just select the useful content and copy it.
9. Open a new text file, paste the content. In this way you downloaded (Copy ) the content.
What happens here is when you see the file on scribd.com, you see image of the file. When google bot crawl the content, it see the text version of copy (which is accessible by search bots only)
