Download and save any Orkut main profile picture, photo

Saving profile main pic by right click is not the correct way in Orkut. If you want to save or download any profile picture of Orkut into your computer, you need to get image URL from the source file of the profile page.

You can do as follows. First go at profile page.

If you are using firefox- click on View > Page Source (For IE, click View>Source).

Press Ctrl+F.

In search box put- ‘background’ and click find.

you will reach at something these line first

style=”background-image: url(http://img3.orkut.com/images/medium/1202561440/76413644.jpg);

copy the Image URL (example)- http://img3.orkut.com/images/medium/1202561440/76413644.jpg

Put this URL on address bar, press Enter. Enjoy the pic. Now right click on pic an save it on your PC.

      Cool Trick ,However you can also Follow Guide to Save Picture from Orkut If you face problem with above tricks .

      This might no longer work, because orkut changed the codes, check out http://digitalpbk.blogspot.com/2008/11/orkut-download-photo-album-copy.html
      for a simpler method.
