Crack WinZip and WinRar file password using free Zip password cracker

If you are unable to open Winzip file or Rar (Winrar) file because of encrypted password, that you don’t know, there is chance that you can crack the password of encrypted zip or Winrar file.

There are lots of software available for cracking the password of zip file, you can download one such software from here. These software can be used freely on trial basis. The trail version or free version of software have some limitations.

This software works on putting random password on the file to match the exact password. If actual password of WInzip file is easy like abc or 123, the software will take less time to find out the password. If password is too long or very hard to guess, the software will take much longer time. It may be possible that software will not be able to crack password.

It works on two ways

1. Brute forcing – It takes a long time, the program just tries every password possible, some have range specifiers.

2. Dictionary Attack – This method is a little “smarter”. It takes a common dictionary file of words and tries them as passwords (this is based on the fact that people often choose real words as passwords). It’s smarter, but you can’t have a dictionary containing all possible words, especially if the author is foreign. Most dictionaries are English-only and writing a word backwards or a slight variation (say a translation table) would fool it.
