Over 13.13 lakh students have registered in the CBSE 2008 exams. For class X, there are 7,65,095 candidates, including 4,49,742 boys. For the Class XII, there are 5,48,815 students registered for examination including 3,18,618 boys.

CBSE TOPPERS 2007 class X – Manish (Gyan Niketan, Patna, Bihar) scored a staggering 99.4% in the exams, missing the magical 100 figure mark by only 3 marks.
